Marshall played in all 13 games, starting the final 11, and tied Smith for the team-lead with three interceptions, two of which came in the rivalry win over UCLA. Marshall is a physical corner as well, ranking fourth on the Trojans with 60 tackles.
Smith missed the final three games with a knee injury, but he made a massive impact before going down. He still is tied for the team-lead in tackles (78), plus he was the catalyst for the turnaround under Clay Helton, picking off Travis Wilson three times, including one returned for a score, in the upset of then No. 3 Utah.
