USC sophomore point guard Jordan McLaughlin set the school-record for assists in a single game last night, delivering 16 gifts to send the Trojans into the Christmas break with their sixth consecutive victory. USC defeated Lafayette, 100-64, to finish non-conference play 11-2, the program's best start since 2001-02.

The Trojans topped the century mark for the third time this season, the most 100-point games in a campaign since 1991. Elijah Stewart (27 points) and Katin Reinhardt (26 points) carried the scoring load, draining six threes apiece, while freshman Chimezie Metu matched his career-high, 15 points, in his first start.
