With a dominating, 20-5, win over Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, the USC men's water polo team seized a spot in the NCAA Semifinals and is just one win away from its 11th consecutive NCAA title game. Twelve different Trojans scored in the must-win performance that got the offense humming before USC faces No. 2 Cal on Saturday.

Once the scoring started it simply didn't stop for USC, which held a 12-0 lead at halftime. Grant Stein, Zach D'Sa and Nick Bell each contributed two goals to the first half effort but it was Lachlan Edwards, who tallied three goals in the second half, that finished with a team-leading four total.
Now, the Trojans head to Westwood to take on a talented Cal team that they've played twice already this year. USC was victorious in the first match in September, defeating the Bears, 12-9, to finish third in the Kap7 Invitational. On Halloween, the two teams squared off again but ended with Cal topping the Trojans, 12-0, in Berkeley.
