USC men's basketball picked up its first true road win of the season on Thursday night, defeating UC Santa Barbara, 75-63. The Trojans silenced the Thunderdome by pounding the glass for 18 offensive rebounds.

The hard fought victory came courtesy of a team effort as 10 different Trojans scored, topped by Elijah Stewart's 15 points, and the USC bench contributed 24 points, including a career-high 10 from freshman center Chimezie Metu. The Trojans also shared the basketball well, dishing out 16 assists to only 10 turnovers as Julian Jacobs thrived at the point guard spot, filling up the stat sheet with 12 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals.
USC returns home to Galen Center for the next five games, starting Monday against Idaho at 7 p.m.
