The USC women's basketball team kicked off its 2015-16 season on Friday with a dominating, 92-43, victory over the Hope International Royals. Junior Jordan Adams posted her second career double-double and sophomore Kristen Simon recorded a team-best and career-high 20 points.
All 10 players who took the court for the Trojans on Friday scored, with Simon leading the way followed by Adams who finished with 18 points and a career-high 14 rebounds. This Women of Troy team features a variety of new faces and five newcomers registered their first official minutes in the Cardinal & Gold. Graduate student transfer Temi Fagbenle posted double-digit rebounds (10) and was just a basket away from her first double-double as a Trojan finishing with eight points in her debut.
