On Thursday, the No. 2 USC women's volleyball team defeated Oregon State, 3-0, at Galen Center, but the victory wasn't the biggest story of the night. With a 13-kill performance, senior outside hitter Samantha Bricio became USC's all-time leader in career kills with 1,919, establishing herself as one of the greatest to ever grace the court as a Trojan.
Bricio is already USC's career leader for service aces (284), attacks (5,085) and points (2,347.5). Her performance against the Beavers moved her into first place on the career kills list in front of All-American Alex Jupiter (2008-11) who finished her career with 1,918 kills.
With four matches remaining in the regular season, the senior still has time to extend her lead on the all-time list. Next up, the Trojans, who are undefeated at home and boast a 27-1 record overall, heads to the desert to take on Arizona (November 20, 6 p.m. PT) and Arizona State (November 22, 1 p.m. PT).
