The USC women's soccer season came to an end on Sunday after a historic trip to the NCAA Sweet 16 for only the third time in program history. The Women of Troy finished second in the Pac-12 with a conference record of 9-2.

USC's most valuable scorer, Morgan Andrews, posted on Twitter following the loss saying, "The game wouldn't mean half as much if it didn't break your heart every once in a while. We'll be back. #family." This Trojan squad transformed the program and put USC women's soccer back on the map jumping from an 11th-place finish in the Pac-12 in 2013 to 2nd in the conference this season.
The No. 11 Trojans were unable to hold off the attack from the top-ranked Cavaliers, who scored late in the first half and again in the final 10 minutes to win 2-0. USC finished the season with a record of 15-6-2 and are set to return all but two starters next season.
