Coaches Start USC at 15

USC is ranked No. 15 in the initial Coaches' Poll heading into the 2014 season. The Trojans are one of six Pac-12 teams listed in the Top 25 joining No. 4 Oregon, No. 7 UCLA, No. 11 Stanford, No. 18 Arizona State and No. 25 Washington plus annual non-conference opponent No. 17 Notre Dame.

USC finished last season ranked No. 24 in the Coaches' Poll, which no longer plays any significant role in determining the national champion. The new College Football Playoff will decide the nation's best four teams by using a selection committee of trusted experts including USC Athletic Director Pat Haden.

Posted yesterday on social media, the Trojans are now actually 30 days to kickoff.
