Bourne, who was the 2013 Newcomer of the Year, has picked up a pair of tournament victories this summer with veteran partner John Hyden. They defeated Phil Dalhausser/Sean Rosenthal (21-15, 21-18) in the final.
Ross and Kerri Walsh Jennings are now the team to beat on the beach after their respective Olympic partners Jennifer Kessy and Misty May-Treanor retired. The London 2012 gold medal match combatants have picked up five wins this season.
