Senior baseball captain Kevin Swick, who has already earned Academic All-American First Team, was named to the All-Pac-12 Academic First Team. The USC hits leader is also a finalist for the TD Ameritrade Fan's Choice Award.

While Swick (pictured) continues to draw the academic headlines, he is not the only baseball player who wears a thinking cap. Redshirt freshman SS Reggie Southall, who sports a 3.39 GPA in human biology, made the conference's second team.
