Swick sports a 3.83 G.P.A. as a business administration major with a psychology minor. He was recently honored with a Renaissance Scholarship for distinguishing himself with a major and a minor in widely separate fields of study.
On the diamond, he led the Trojans with 61 hits this season spurring the program's best record in nearly a decade. He is the first USC baseball player to earn First Team Academic All-American, an honor which has been around since 1952, although John Jackson, who was a two-time winner for football, played baseball as well.
Swick is well prepared for life after college as both a baseball prospect, working his way from freshman walk-on to three-year starter, or as a businessman, where he is very active throughout the Marshall School of Business. He has been President of USC's Value Investing Club since 2011, where members attend Berkshire Hathaway meetings & compete in national pitch competitions, and he interned at Fidelity Investments in Boston.
