USC women's tennis has had some great singles players, but no one doubles up quite like Kaitlyn Christian. The senior wrapped up her third consecutive Pac-12 Doubles Championship in Ojai this past weekend, and now will look to defend her national title.
While Christian was always considered half of a whole with longtime doubles' partner Sabrina Santamaria, she has proved her individual worth without her injured teammate. Christian conquered the conference tournament paired with junior Giuliana Olmos despite the two having never competed together before.

While Olmos is a talented player herself, winning the singles invitational championship earlier in the day, Christian is the doubles' master. In the post-game interview below, Justin Gimelstob compares Christian to Cara Black, who won 10 Grand Slam doubles' titles.
