Baron is a monster in the cage standing at 6-foot-9 coming to USC from Mater Dei. He has already competed for the USA Junior National Team each of the last three years.
Goncharenko is no slouch at 6-foot-4 coming to USC from La Serna High. He recorded double-digit saves in every match as a senior in high school earning All-Area Player of the Year.
"McQuin will dominate in college water polo for the next 4 years," said Vavic, who is excited for the combination of Baron and Goncharenko in the cage. "Ben is an excellent goalie. He's long and has great balance in the cage. He's somebody we hope to play right away."
