The new Uytengsu Aquatics Center was finally unveiled on Friday less than a year and a half after its groundbreaking. The unveiling featured remarks from Fred Uytengsu, who gave the largest gift ever by a former USC student-athlete, as well as Athletic Director Pat Haden, USC Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Elizabeth Garrett and senior swimming co-captain Chase Bloch.

Following the unveiling, USC men's swimming took to the pool and won the first ever event raced in the new facility as they took on Utah for a six-event abbreviated meet.
