Going up against a tough opponent in St. John Bosco, the Etiwanda point guard tried to get his teammates involved early scoring only two points in the first half. After halftime, a different McLaughlin emerged from the locker room scoring 30 points including the game-tying floater to force overtime and an eventual win.
He finished with 32 points on five threes, three rebounds and three assists. McLaughlin's team is now 22-3 on the season, and ranked No. 22 in the nation.
