USC women's basketball continued its stellar start winning the SMU Thanksgiving Classic by taking down the hosts in the final. The Women of Troy defeated SMU 64-57 a day after beating Sam Houston State 88-67.
Senior Alexyz Vaioletama was named the tournament MVP, and Jordan Adams joined her on the all-tournament team.

The Trojans have now won five consecutive games after dropping the season opener to No. 1 South Carolina. Next up, they hit the road once again at St. Mary's on Saturday.
