All season long, sophomore Su'a Cravens has been the X-factor in the Trojans defense, the one piece on the chess board that can move anywhere at any time. Since he started the season as a safety and then switched to a hybrid linebacker role, he makes for a unique candidate for the Jim Thorpe Award (nation's best defensive back).
Wherever he lines up, Cravens makes plays. He has more tackles-for-loss (12.5) than any defensive back in the nation and the second most sacks (4.0) among DBs. He also has two interceptions on the season (T-6th in the Pac-12), including one returned for a touchdown, and six picks in his career.
