USC Athletics and Banc of California joined forces to break a Guinness world record Sunday by gathering more than 7,000 people, including young kids from LAUSD Beyond the Bell, for a financial literacy event at Galen Center featuring former President Bill Clinton.

The students learned valuable lessons about the importance of budgeting and saving money, and then stayed around to cheer on USC women's basketball to an exhibition victory over Concordia.
