The Polynesian Football Hall of Fame announced its Class of 2015 this week, which included former Trojan running back/kick returner Mosiula "Mosi" Faasuka Tatupu. Tatupu played at USC from 1974 to 1978 and was then selected by the New England Patriots in the eighth round of the 1978 NFL Draft, where he played for 13 seasons.
His son Lofa, a linebacker, won a pair of national championships at USC in 2003 and 2004 and went on to play for the Seattle Seahawks. Mosi Tatupu passed away on February 23, 2010. Fellow Trojan Junior Seau was enshrined as a member of the inaugural Polynesian Football Hall of Fame class in 2013.
