USC women's golf maintained its No. 1 ranking heading into the new school year after blowing away the field at the NCAA Championships and returning all five starters. The Women of Troy were a near unanimous pick in the Golf World/NGCA Division I College Women's Preseason Coaches' Poll.

In addition to returning a loaded lineup, Andrea Gaston welcomed two of the nation's top freshmen in Gabriella Then (pictured) and Karen Chung. USC opens the 2013-14 season at the Dale McNamara Fall Preview, Sept. 9-11, at the Tulsa (Okla.) C.C., home of the 2014 NCAA Championships scheduled in late May.
