USC AD Pat Haden made the national radio rounds this morning in the wake of the firing of Lane Kiffin and the promotion of Ed Orgeron to interim head coach.

On the Dan Patrick Show, Haden reiterated that Kiffin "battled me hard" to keep his job, and said any coach would have struggled with the sanctions dealt to USC during his tenure. "Vince Lombardi would have had a tough time getting through this."
