"I am really excited about this year's new players," said the second-year head coach. "The position players bring a lot of flexibility and versatility in terms of where they can play, and on the mound, we've brought in a strong mix of right and left-handed pitchers. We got stronger up the middle of the diamond and have added some power at the corners."

Martinez (pictured) arrives with an all-star resume as a three-time Team USA alum, Under Armour and Perfect Game All-American, and a 37th round pick by the Chicago Cubs in the June 2013 MLB First Year Player Draft. As a senior at Mater Dei High School, he batted .395 with 17 RBI and 4 doubles.
