In 2012-13, UCLA took back the Gauntlet from USC after the Trojans controlled the Crosstown Rivalry for five consecutive seasons. No. 4 USC women's volleyball can stake a claim to the city this Wednesday night at 7 p.m. when the Women of Troy host the Bruins at Galen Center.

The Trojans are off to a 10-1 start led by two-time All-American libero Natalie Hagglund and 2012 National Freshman of the Year Samantha Bricio. Mick Haley's team has also been boosted by strong performances from freshmen Ebony Nwanebu and Elise Ruddins, who have each earned Pac-12 Freshman of the Week honors.
