Kennedy (pictured), who won 21 games in 2011 for the Arizona Diamondbacks, was shipped to San Diego to pitch for the rival Padres. He is 3-1 in his career at Petco Park with a 2.27 ERA, so the Huntington Beach native should fit in nicely in his new digs.
Green made his major league debut this season for the Oakland Athletics, and now he will get his chance to stick in the bigs with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. The Anaheim Hills product will get a chance to play in front of friends and family at every home game.
