Members of the USC women's swim team made an impressive showing at last week's World University Games in Kazan, Russia with top eight finishes in events all across the board.
Senior Meghan Hawthorne earned a silver medal in the 400m IM after surging from sixth to second late in the race. Incoming freshman Chelsea Chenault helped the U.S. to a gold medal in the 800m free relay by swimming an event best 1:57.88 in the third leg.

Kasia Wilk competed for Poland, while Joanna Stenkvist swam in the finals of three events for Sweden. Vladimir Morozov, who turned pro after a successful junior season in 2013, won six medals at the WUGs including gold medals in the 50m free, 100m free, 400m free relay and 400m medley relay.
