"I'm just so happy I had the opportunity to be here and play here," Santamaria said after receiving her medal. "I really don't want to leave. This has been a really special moment for me."
The sophomore holds an overall 30-4 record in her time at USC and is a four-time All-American. Last season, Santamaria and partner Kaitlyn Christian became the first womens pair in collegiate history to win the triple crown as winners of the 2012 ITA/Riviera Women's All-American Championship, the 2012 USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championship, and the 2013 NCAA title.
