Senior running back Silas Redd has been named to the Doak Walker Award preseason watch list, an award honoring the nation's premier running back. This is the second preseason award list for Redd who was also named to the Maxwell Award preseason list earlier this month.

After transferring to USC last season, Redd led the team with 905 yards on 167 carries with nine touchdowns. The senior is looking to bounce back from surgery and help lead the Trojan offense in 2013.
