After a 37-1 season which culminated in USC's first-ever NCAA women's doubles championship, Sabrina Santamaria and Kaitlyn Christian were named the 2013 ITA National College Women's Doubles Team of the Year. They are the first Women of Troy duo to win the award joining 2008 men's doubles champions Robert Farah and Kaes Van't Hof.

Best friends off the court, Santamaria and Christian have filled up the trophy case at Marks Stadium this season becoming the first doubles team to pull off the "triple crown" winning the 2012 ITA/Riviera Women's All-American Championship, the 2012 USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championship, and the 2013 NCAA title.
