Lined up against the rival Steelers in his first playoff game, Palmer was ready to fulfill his destiny when fate dealt him a cruel hand. On the back end of a 66-yard completion on his first pass of the game, Palmer's knee was torn up by a Pittsburgh lineman who awkwardly dove into his legs.
Since then, the quarterback has reached the playoffs just once, and he was traded to the Oakland Raiders who moved him to the Arizona Cardinals this offseason. Now, the 11-year veteran is searching for one last run.

Palmer described his career as "unfulfilled." He told the LA Times, "I've had a ton of experience. I've played in every type of situation. But to not have one run in the playoffs where you just make one of those magical runs? That's what I want. I just want a chance to make one of those runs and see what happens."
