Marqise Lee and Silas Redd, USC's respective returning leaders in receiving and rushing, were named to the Maxwell Award watch list which honors the nation's best player.

Redd benefits from some positive Trojan history as the only three USC winners of the Maxwell Award were running backs O.J. Simpson, Charles White and Marcus Allen. As a returning semifinalist, Lee is considered one of the preseason favorites in 2013.
