Rod Dedeaux, Baseball America and Collegiate Baseball's "Coach of the Century", is part of the inaugural six-man class that was recently inducted into the Omaha College Baseball Hall of Fame. Represented by his son Justin, the late Rod Dedeaux was honored for his 11 national championships and 28 conference titles in his 45-year tenure at Troy.

As part of the bedrock of collegiate baseball, Dedeaux entered the Hall of Fame alongside Augie Garrido, Bob Horner, Brooks Kieschnick, Robin Ventura and Dave Winfield.
