USC's only four-time All-American golfer, Lizette Salas, has made a huge splash in her young career on the LPGA Tour. The golfer is currently ranked 11th on this year's LPGA money list and already has more than $635,000 in career earnings. Next week Salas will join a slew of Trojans in the 2013 U.S. Women's Open, including current Trojans Annie Park, Kyung Kim and Doris Chen amongst other former players.
The Golf Channel recently featured the former Trojan on "In Play with Jimmy Roberts", highlighting Salas' unconventional introduction to the sport, her success at USC, and her journey to the LPGA tour. Check out the inspirational piece below.
