Can you name the jersey number that has been worn by more USC football All-Americans than any other? No. 83? No. 42? No. 16? No. 2? Some of the most legendary Trojans have gone to battle wearing those numbers, but it's actually No. 71 that has been worn by the most All-Americans.
One such Trojan, Tony Boselli, was a force to be reckoned with as an offensive tackle for USC from 1991 to 1994. An All-American in '92 and a team captain and consensus All-American in '94, Boselli went on to be chosen second overall in the 1995 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars. His NFL career included four All-Pro selections, five Pro-Bowl visits, and a two-time selection as NFL Lineman of the Year.
