Not many collegiate athletes can say they've won national titles in two entirely different sports ever, much less within the same year. Kaleigh Gilchrist of the USC women's waterpolo team can. With an impressive 9.4 score on her final ride, the Trojan senior won the National Scholastic Surfing Association College Women's Championship on Monday.

Last month, Gilchrist and her Trojan teammates took down Stanford 10-9 in a thrilling, five-overtime NCAA Championship. It was the first NCAA Women's Waterpolo Final to go into overtime and the fourth women's waterpolo national title for the Trojans.
Gilchrist had a fantastic junior year at USC, finishing as the second leading goal scorer with 45 goals and earning first team All-American honors.
