Ronnie Lott, Junior Seau, Troy Polamalu... The list is long and strong, but the average fan might take awhile to get to Richard Wood. While he certainly did not reach the NFL heights of the aforementioned names, his collegiate resume rivals any.
"Batman" was the program's first ever three-time All-American. He won national championships in 1972 and 1974, and eventually was voted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
