Senior All-American swimmer Alex Lendrum was awarded an NCAA post-graduate scholarship ($7,500) for his combined excellence in academics and athletics. The two-year captain was a two-time All-American in the pool and a three-time Pac-12 All-Academic first team selection as well as the 2013 Pac-12 Swimming Scholar Athlete of the Year.
Click here for the full story. Lendrum is USC's 52nd NCAA postgraduate scholarship winner and its second in the last three years (men's tennis player Jaak Poldma won it in 2011). USC is in the top 10 nationally in awardees and Lendrum is USC's eighth men's swimming recipient and the first since Dave Wharton in 1991.
