Football linebacker Frankie Telfort, who was forced to give up the game due to a heart ailment, and sand volleyball's Erin Kaupp, who battled cancer, were the featured student-athlete speakers. Also, Legend of Troy awards were given to Gayle and Ed Roski as well as Director of Track and Field Ron Allice.
