USC, UCLA Tie In Head-To-Head Match Play Event

Seniors Sam Smith and Stewart Hagestad and sophomore Anthony Paolucci all posted wins as No. 11 USC and No. 5 UCLA tied 3-3 in a one-day match-play event between the schools at the Bel Air Country Club on Thursday (April 18).
Smith defeated UCLA's Pedro Figueiredo, 4&2 while Paolucci downed Bruin Jonathan Garrick, 3&1. Hagestad also won 4&3 against Lorens Chan.
USC freshman Yi Keun Chang fell to Bruin senior Pontus Widegren, 1 down, junior Jeffrey Kang lost to Anton Arboleda, 3&2, and junior Ramsey Sahyoun fell to UCLA's Jay Hwang, 1 down.
Both school next turn to the 2013 Pac-12 Championships at the L.A. C.C., April 29-May 1.
