In 2011, the Trojans and Fighting Irish squared off in primetime in South Bend for the first time in rivalry history (which dates back to 1926), so this equals the latest start time in the greatest intersectional rivalry (home or away). Two years ago, USC defeated Notre Dame 31-17 in the first home night game at Notre Dame Stadium since 1990.
