Inside the John McKay Center, the NFL prospects will be measured by height, weight, arm length, hand width and flexibility. Then, they will show off their leaping ability with the standing long jump and vertical jump before maxing out on bench press reps of 225 pounds.
Outside on the Loker Track Stadium turf, USC players will run the 40 meter dash followed by agility tests like the three-cone drill. Finally, the athletes will be worked out individually which is when Barkley is expected to throw publicly for the first time since spraining his AC joint at the end of the UCLA game.
USC Pro Day is CLOSED to the public, but NFL Network and ESPN3 (featuring Todd McShay and Trent Dilfer) are providing a window into the action. We will also have extensive coverage, which we will detail at a later date.
Barkley is expected to throw to a familiar target in Robert Woods.
