"I want every young adult affected by a terminal diagnosis to be able to do what he or she wants," Coffelt wrote on his blog. "This is what makes me happy, and my network of friends has shown me how important it is to help someone in a time of need. ... I am now devoting my time, energy and effort all to this foundation."
Kalil was Coffelt's center in high school, and was being honored at a Servite football dinner when he turned the attention to his friend's fight and announced the Little Kings Foundation. Click here for Kalil's blog post on the announcement.
