Spring football is here! The Trojans will hold the first of 15 practices Tuesday evening starting at 4 p.m., and you are invited to view the workout from Dedeaux Deck and Prior Plaza at Dedeaux Field.

The Trojans officially return 16 starters in 2013 plus seven exciting early entrants to add to the spring mix before six more arrivals in the fall. The roster will also be boosted by the return of DE/OLB Devon Kennard and RB Tre Madden who both missed the entire season with injuries.
For the numerical enthusiasts, the neophytes have their first numbers: QB Max Browne (No. 4), DB Su'a Cravens (No. 21), DL Kenny Bigelow (No. 95), DB Leon McQuay III (No. 22), RB Justin Davis (No. 22), DB Chris Hawkins (No. 29) and WR Darreus Rogers (No. 84).
QB Max Browne has a chance to create his own legacy since the No. 4 has never been worn by a Trojan All-American. The last USC starting quarterback to wear No. 4 was John Fox in 1999.
Su'a Cravens, the USA Today National Defensive Player of the Year, will grab the torch from Nickell Robey who wore No. 21 proudly. The number has never been worn by a Trojan All-American, but LenDale White did rush for a school record 52 touchdowns.
