Former USC Rose Bowl MVP John David Booty is among several quarterbacks trying to earn a spot on the Arizona Diamondbacks as part of an MLB Network reality show "The Next Knuckler" premiering tonight. Booty's golden arm, which once was famous for tight spirals, will have to learn the no spin pitch that dances past big league hitters.
Booty will compete alongside his brother Josh, who was a quarterback at LSU. Here is a preview:
