"We wish Ali well and thank him for his dedicated service in bringing the first NCAA women's soccer title to USC and to the Pac-12 in 2007," said Haden. "But based on the past few years, we felt it was time to go in a new direction. We need to reinvigorate our program and get back to contending for NCAA and conference championships."
His overall record at USC was 82-53-15, but just 21-33-5 in the last 3 years. In Pac-12 play, he was 30-31-8 and his teams did not place higher than sixth the last 3 seasons.
Said Khosroshahin: "I would like to thank USC for the privilege and opportunity to lead the women's soccer program, and I wish them all the best in the future. It was tremendous to be part of the Trojan Family."
