USC women's swimming and diving joined women's volleyball and women's golf as Trojan teams atop the national rankings. The Women of Troy enter the season ranked No. 1 after finishing seventh at the NCAA Championships a year ago.

Under the direction of Dave Salo, the Trojans start the season October 18 with the SMU Classic.

Freshman Chelsea Chenault is expected to provide an immediate boost for the Trojans.
