- The Trojans practiced at breakneck speed for about 45 minutes. Ed Orgeron split the field up 1s vs. 1s and 2s vs. 2s, so the whole team could play simultaneously. The strategy, which was typical of Pete Carroll in his USC days, maximizes efficiency.

This is still a powerful, powerful place."
