After a fast start to the season, USC women's soccer has experienced a goal drought recently leading to a four-game losing streak. The Women of Troy rose to the level of their competition though this weekend first drawing No. 8 California before upsetting No. 5 Stanford.

The Trojans did not exactly bust out in terms of scoring, but they defended bravely on the road, and junior midfielder Alex Quincey delivered the equalizer against the Bears and the game-winner versus the Cardinal. The unbeaten weekend puts USC at 6-6-2 overall and 1-3-1 in Pac-12 play.
