The 2012-13 men's basketball schedule, which features non-conference home showdowns against San Diego State and Minnesota and a full Pac-12 slate, was released today. The season opener is November 9 (Homecoming weekend) versus Coppin State at Galen Center.

The Trojans will battle an elite field at the Maui Invitational (November 19-21). USC will open the tournament against Illinois before potential match-ups with Texas, North Carolina, Butler and Marquette.
With an unbalanced Pac-12 schedule, USC will not travel to Oregon or Oregon State and will not host Colorado or Utah this season. The crux of the home schedule will play out deep into the season as the Trojans face UCLA (February 24), Arizona (February 27) and Arizona State (March 2) in three consecutive games.

After a 6-26 campaign, Kevin O'Neill's squad has turned the page with high-powered transfers J.T. Terrell, Ari Stewart, Renaldo Woolridge and Eric Wise joining up with now healthy stalwarts Jio Fontan (pictured), Aaron Fuller and Dewayne Dedmon.
"This is the first time in three years that we've had a full roster to work with," O'Neill told Jon Rothstein. "We've got 13 to 14 guys that can play."Â
