USC head coach Lane Kiffin announced that redshirt sophomore QB Jesse Scroggins will transfer this summer.
"After meeting with Jesse Scroggins and his father recently, Jesse has decided to transfer from USC," Kiffin said. "Jesse had a very strong spring semester in the classroom, therefore he is academically eligible to transfer at this time."
Scroggins has not yet announced where he will transfer. USC is left with three scholarship quarterbacks as Cody Kessler and Max Wittek will battle to back-up Matt Barkley.
