USC baseball is off to a 13-6 start, but the Trojans have played 13 of their 19 games at Dedeaux Field where they are 11-2 this season. Now, Frank Cruz's rebuilding project will get a thorough inspection with seven consecutive road games.
First up, the Trojans travel to Palo Alto for a three-game set against No. 2 Stanford. The Cardinal (13-2) are pounding opponents this season, including weekend series wins over four different top 10 teams.
Then, USC returns home to Southern California for a Wednesday game at UC Irvine before another weekend trip to Washington State.
In general, the Pac-12 is loaded this season with six teams in the top 25 and three in the top 10.
